There are markings for up to 3 inches which allows you to calculate a more accurate average WPI on certain hairy yarns.
* There are also 1/2 inch marks.
* A special WPI Knit-Kard™ comes bundled with the tool in a ziplock bag. The Kard tells the user how to use the tool and provides a useful WPI chart for 6 different weights of yarn.

Yarn Meter $55.00
The yarn meter will handle most yarn weights. It will even work with certain ribbon yarns.
The clamping system allows the unit to be attached to a table, spinning wheel, loom, or other surface. It will fit table thicknesses from 1/2" to 1-3/4" (it will even fit 2" thick tables if you remove the vinyl feet from the bottom of the meter).
Meter measures to 999 and then continues from 000 again. The meter has a handy reset button.

Glass knitting needles are both gorgeous and functional.
They have a lattice of color twisting throughout the length of the needle,
and are individual works of art. Made by glass artist Martha Kauppi, they are all different, so call or email to find out which colors and sizes we
